Hustle and Bustle

My birthday falls on February 14 and my dad's on February 18. Not the most fun thing to have birthdays fall between end of January till mid-February because these dates always clash with Chinese New Year parties and celebrations. And this year, Chinese New Year fell on 16th of February. How wonderful?!

While almost all my friends are finally back from all over the world since God knows when, I have to juggle the time wisely so that I could have quality time with friends and not neglecting my family.

Lucky for me, most of them left on the 18th back to wherever they need to be. That morning, I had to send my best friend of 20 years to Penang International Airport and I got to go to Mugshot, my all time favorite cafe in Penang for a cappuccino and Kiwi & Honey Yoghurt. Talk about loyalty!

I really wanted a bagel because they serve the best I've ever had but I've been having gastric I can barely eat anything. So if you're in town, you must come to try!

Thankfully, my gastric is now gone, probably cuz of the very original homemade yoghurt. I am so amazed by how the standard hasn't dropped a bit. Thank God I insisted on going there because I didn't wanna go to another franchise or cafe with branches.

After that, it's shopping for birthday cake time. Went to my favorite Continental Bakery to be disappointed because they were still closed. So I wound up at another place I'd go if I get to, China House Cafe.

And this kinda marks the end of my Chinese New Year celebrations. I really need to hibernate to recover from all my sleepless nights.
