Food challenge contest week #105|| Preparing Plantain and Fresh tomatoes sauce

Hello steemians of steemkids and parents community, it is my pleasure to participate in this challenge. I love cooking because it makes me explore the culinary world and art.
For this challenge I will be showing you how I prepared plantain and fresh tomatoes sauce.

Ingredients

  • Plantain
  • Fresh tomatoes
  • Fresh pepper
  • Scent leave
  • Maggi
  • Salt
  • Onions
  • Groundnut oil

Step 1

I peeled the plantain then washed it and put it in a pot, added water and set it on the stove.

I washed the tomatoes and peppers and used the grater to grate them into tiny pieces.
I also cut the onions into tiny bits.

I added salt to the plantain as it started boiling. Then after 15 minutes I brought it down and filtered the water out.

I put a pot on fire and added groundnut oil to it, when it became hot I sprinkled some salt then I went in with the tomatoes, onions and pepper. I kept stirring occasionally to make sure it doesn't get burnt. When the tomatoes was done cooking I added Maggi and the scent leave which I had cut. Then I brought the pot down from fire.
