Happy children's Day 🥳
Holla, and a happy children's Day to all wonderful, loving, children and the future and of our community and country at large.
Indeed it has been a great day over here in Akwa ibom state, uyo, Nigeria. It has been all colorful all day.

Over here, children's Day is assumed as public holiday for the children and that means on that day no school and all the kids stay home and rest for be day.
But that is not all because there is also another way children do celebrate their day. And that is going for match pass at a choosen school or event field according to their local government as well.
In some schools before the children's Day, they will organize at 2 hours practice with the students selected. In some schools selection starts from primary 4-ss3.
The school will practice 2 weeks or a week to the main event snd those that did well during the practice will be chosen to go and represent the school.
On that day, you must dress neatly, your clothes sparkling clean and your hair well arranged or made. And when they arrive the event there will be a space kept for them to line up and get ready for the match pass.
At the stadium there will be a standard brass band playing but if your school choose to play for themselves, the brass band will stop and let your school band play.
And in the process of matching, the school and others will have to salute the chairman representing the governor and of course other highly recognized officials.
Schools will display their own styles of salute and it is always so colourful and spectacular seeing them perform at their very best.
When each school has finished matching, there will be a little snacks to calm the children's nerves after a well done performance.
