Symbolic & Statistical AI

Most of what we're using today is largely based on Statistical AI (quite like System 1 thinking according to Daniel Kahneman's work). It guesses the world around us. Symbolic AI or System 2 thinking is based on logic. It doesn't guess at all as inputs are directly the intent of the given information. The video above explains the difference quite well I think.
