Steemit greetings to you all steemians, let me start by saying that harvest season comes after planting season,a lot of people practice farming and make a lot of gains to from it. But it is very rare now a days that you see people going into farming but only believe in buying food items which is produced from another country. Under research you will understand that commercial farming is no more encouraging in our society ,even subsistence farming become a problem which make us face insufficient of food in our home. So I will like to write on the important of harvest in the our society at this time of hardship. I do welcome everyone to my blog.

Harvest Season

As we all know,harvest season is possibly an important time for both gardeners and farmers ,this is when fruits and vegetables are set to be picked before being used for any food preparation,be it for consumption or commercial.
In my location Ikot Antuen in Itu local Government Area Akwa Ibom state Nigeria,Melon has become an important crop that farmers in that location do planted over the years, but the issue was that this Melon did not perform wel for the past few years because of climate change,it makes me price of this crops to be skyrocket per cup,it about # 380.00 per cup ,1.49 steem equivalent.
So this year harvest have been so booming and brings laughter in the mouth of the farmers that planted melon.
As you can see from the picture,it shows a very high level of farmers concern about Melon harvest.

Melons

Another one is vegetable leafs, for about 3 years now vegetable didn't grow well in that same location,even when it was well cultivated, farmers were having challenges of waiting of financial resources, when they didn't had much harvest, some tried to applied chemical fertilizer which a time is not good to everyone body system. Buu But this year the story changed as vegetable leafs is doing well, and farmers are enjoying booming harvest and some testify how much they have make so far.

Because of it poor performance,this time around, the gardens tried to use sticks and Carry them up so that they can perform wel.

Important Of Harvest

• During harvest, the price of the harvested crop will reduce in the market.
• It will make parents to substitute the harvested crop in the family , that changed of food in take.
• it will boost the financial capacity of the farmers.

Conclusion

I will to conclude that, before harvest season there should be planting season and if you don't plant, there's no way you can harvest. Mostly now our economic system is changing to agriculture. I will advise everyone to key into farming as it will bring to us an amazing life experience.
