Coffee ? You offer me coffee ?

"Coffee ? You offer me coffee ?"
The young lady was a bit surprised as she just had entered the place for the first time.
"Yeah... as a welcome here in my library", I answered.
"But ... do you know what I am here for ?"
"Well as anyone here, I guess you are here because you are a book lover. A potential book buyer maybe ?", I said smiling.
"Not really ... I am here to announce you that this place has just been bought by my company. It will be demolished in 4 weeks. We are going to build a huge bot-arena for the next Robot Olympics that will take place in 6 years just here, and your library is in the way. Please take all your belonging and remove them before we start the demolition process. In 4 weeks, nothing will remain, I am afraid."

Now it was my turn to be surprised.
On these words, the mysterious young lady turned around and left.

Et voilà!
This is a drawing I made a few months ago in a sketchbook full of blank pages that I had the pleasure to fill up each day.

And it just inspired me this Very Short Fiction (or VSF trademark term deposit, all rights reserved @eternalsunshine lted, september 2017) :D
