Introduction

Hi everyone in Steemit. My name is Steve van Blerk and I reside in Johannesburg South Africa.(It would be interesting to know if there are any other South Africans using this platform). I am 67 years young, happily married to a wonderful woman whose name is Christine, semi retired and have for the last 15 months been studying and researching everything I can about Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies which, because of my passion about new technology, I have found this subject most fascinating and exciting. I would be interested to know if there is anyone here who is also involved in this technology as maybe we can connect and exchange ideas. This technology is going to revolutionise how the world is going to transact in almost any kind of value point, be it “money, titles, deeds, music, art, scientific discoveries, intellectual property, and even votes.” The usage right now may be beyond what we can even imagine. So it needs to be embraced now as a matter of urgency if we all want to prosper.
