Good day beautiful ladies how are you doing thanks so much @ pea07 for organising this contest, today I will show you step by step on how to sew a baby dress, just follow along. I made this beautiful dress for my niece and she loves and I will like to share it with you.

materials used for the dress

Black poloy
Trimming
Zip
Hard net
Candle gum

Step 1

I lay the material into two, mark the half length and add extra 2 inches allowances then mark the bust point after that I mark the shape I divide the bust measurement by 4 inches then add extra 2 inches allowances, then I mark the under bust by 4 and add extra 2 inches allowances then connect it together then move to the neck, I width the neck by 2 and half then drop it by 3 and cut it out

Step 2

The next thing is to cut the back, I lay the fabric by 2 Ithen I places the front on-top of the material then I add extra 2 inches for zip allowances then I cut it out

Step 3

I cut a lining then turn it after that I places the material on top of the net then then cut the neck then turn it, this is the finished results

Step 4

The next thing is to cut the net, I arrange the edges of the next as you can see in the picture below
I gather the net together after I arrange it then then places it with the upper part and sew it .

Step 5

I used a paper gum to cut the l leave I used 12inchies as the length then cut it in a triangle form then used a black material to gum it in after that I cut another black material to turn it, this is the finished results

Step 6

After I done with that I now join the net together with the upper part then put the Bell bridal and the hard net turn to the positive side

Step7

I used a strumming to design the leave
I places it at the leave to beautify it.

This is the finished results
