THE GOLDEN RULE.
The command of the Lord Jesus in Matthew 7:12 summarises the teachings of the law and the prophets. Every rational person expects good deeds and goodwill from others and, as such, he/she is expected to do goods to others. In other words, the command expects us to love our neighbours as ourselves.
Generally, whatever you expect of others in a particular circumstance, you should do likewise to them. The converse of this law is that you should not do to people what you do not like others to do to you. For example, a person who does not want his properties to be stolen should not steal another person's property. If this command is put to practice, it will reduce self centeredness, improve social interaction and enable our society to be peaceful and orderly.

SOME THINGS WE WANT OTHERS TO DO TO US
We do not want others to hate us or to harm our interests. Nobody likes to be hated and nobody likes anything to harm his/her interests. leviticus 19:17
We do not want others to snub us or to vilify us. When the psalmist prayed to God for mercy, he underlined the hurt experienced by people who are snubbed. psalm 123:3-4
We do not want others to ridicule us or to express hostility towards us. David did not expect the hostility that Nabal displayed towards his men. If Abigail had not intervened, David would have wiped out Nabal's household for it (1 samuel 25:9 - 31).
-We do not want others to neglect or ignore us during our period of need.
- We do not want others to reply our evil deed or wrongdoing in equal measure. A murderer does not want to be murdered. A thief does not want his property stolen. The Bible commands us not to repay evil with evil (Romans 12:17).
Since we do not want people to treat us in the way enumerated above, we too should avoid treating others that way. That is the golden rule.

SOME THING WE WISH OTHER DO TO US
We want other to love and accept us (Romans 13:8). We shall crave the love and acceptance of others. Jesus emphasized the importance of loving our neighbours (Matthew 22:36-39).
We want to be assisted in our times of need (Romand 12:13). Anyone can have a need at any time. Doing to other what we wish they do to us required positive action. Luke 10:30 - 36 describe the levite and the priest who were indifferent to the plight of a man injured by robbers. However, they would have expected help if the situation was reversed. We all want help in our times of needs, so we must help others.
We want others to pray for us (Matthew 26:36-38). It is comforting to know that others remember us in their prayers.
We want others to seek our well-being (Philippians 4:10)
We want people to share with us our joy and our sorrows (Romans 12:15). Nobody would like others to gloat over his distress or to see other rejoice when he is in an unfortunate situation.
We want people that we deal with to be honest and sincere with us (Romans 12:9). we must be honest and sincere in dealing with others if we want them to be honest with us.
We want others to be lenient in their reaction to our shortcomings. We have shortcomings and we expect other people to show understanding and not condemn us for them. In (Matthew 18:23-3) the unmerciful servant was forgiven his inability to pay his debt. However, this servant was ruthless and unforgiving to another servant who owed him some little money. He was severely punished for that violation of the golden rule.
We want others to return whatever they borrow form us. It is a bad practice when we fail to return whatever we borrow to the source from which we borrowed it. We must return whatever we borrow from individual or cooperate organizations. E.g. loans from banks, government, cooperative societies, etc. Psalm 37:21says that whoever borrows and is unwilling to return or pay back is wicked!
We expect people to be generous to us, we must also be generous.

Have a blessed day!
This is one of the most important things that everyone should know and learn. Life would be a better place if we do to others what we expect them to do back to us. We often pray for God's favour from others, we should also pray to God to use us to bless people.

The Golden rule is the key to christian worship and with that the love and peace the world wants will be attained.
THE GOLDEN RULE. THIS IS DEEP, THANKS FOR SHARING THIS WITH US, May we take time to do for others what we would like done for us if we were in their shoes. You never know, one day it could be you who needs comfort or help.
Jesus knew the effect of karma and advice us not to engage in any thing that will be harmful to our neighbours so we should always make sure that we do to others what we will always like to be done to us.

Treat people like you want to be treated....
Thats a command.
Thanks for sharing
The same cup you use to measure for someone, same would be used for you. If you have this in mind, you'll always treat people right.
