The break down of VIRTUES from STEEMCHURCH

Hello everyone, good day. It a beautiful day and everytime I see the breaking of the new day, I say thank you Lord. Today, I would love to talk about virtues.

Virtues are great characters attributed to us, they tell who we really are by the kind of virtue we display to the world. There are 11 virtues I would love us to learn today and they are gotten from the word #STEEMCHURCH. There are two parts, this content is the #part1 aspect where #STEEM virtues would be treated and #part2 will have #CHURCH virtues treated.

T- TEACHABLE

E- ENDURANCE

E- EXCELLENCE

M- MEEKNESS

C- CHARACTER

H- HONESTY

U- UNITY

R- RESPONSIBLITY

C- COURAGEOUS

H- HARDWORK

Philippians 4:8. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.

2 peter 1:5. Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge.

Talking about each of these virtues.

• SELFCONTROL.

Proverb 25:28. A man without self control is like a city broken into and left without walls.

Self control is an important virtue that everyone must possess most especialy the christians. It is the act of been dominant over everything that surrounds you. You have power over the world not the world having power over you. It is the dominance over every of your desires. When you have self control over things like food, sex, drinks, anger and so many things, you have yourself. Self control is knowing what to do or take at a particular time. Only a human with no self control eat many times a day, they cannot control their appetite for food seen at a glance. On the part of sex, it is lack of self control that makes you fall easily when you are alone with opposite sex.

It is self control that helps you stay calm whem angry. I have a friend, when she is angry, she must destroy something before she is calm, that is the devil at work. The devil does not like peace. Destroying things when angry only leaves you with regret when you are calm. You will never be happy with yourself for destroying things you shouldn't have. Pray to God to give you the Grace to control every but of yourself.

• TEACHABLE.
  Every blessed day, we all get to learn one or two new things. Reading this content, there is a particular message you get to learn from it. The key thing is are you teachable? Some persons feel they are too big for younger ones to correct them or teach them things, postive. It doesn't matter who is teaching you. God can use a bouncing baby child to help big you from that particular situation. Never look down on anyone. The rich should not look down on the poor, things may change tomorrow. Regardless who you are learning from, once it a positive thing, grab it and apply it to where it is needed in your life.

• ENDURANCE.

I cannot do without talking about endurance, it is such a key virtue. I tell everyone there is need to tell a success story and there is no moment as sweet as telling how much you have endured all your life compared to where you are or where you would be, there is always a story to tell. When there is no endurance, you want a quicker way to everything, such stories are never told. The patient dog eat the fatest bone. In as much as we are in line with the will of God, believe it that God has a perfect story for you, he has a perfect time for you to shine only if you can endure. There is no suffering that does not have an expiry date, they will all be history. Get your head straight up and keep going, keep pushing harder and harder.

• EXCELLENCE.
  In all you do, make it excellent. In all you long for, expect excellence. Whatsoever you lay you hands on, at work, at school, anywhere you find yourself, be known for your excellency.

Meekness is an act of being submissive to the will of God, respectful, humble, calm and the likes. Many persons have takes the word meekness for weakness. You allow people to ride on you and you do not say a thing or confront them and you say you are only being gentle.

Meekness is doing things in the way of the Lord. In the way He is pleased with.

I am happy to share these #STEEM virtues with you all and by tomorrow, the #CHURCH virtues would be taken care of.
