Follow Your Passion

Most persons especially young persons in the world today ain't living a happy and fulfilling life. A high percentage of young persons ain't living their dreams,rather they are living lives stated by their parents which is quite saddening. Studying medicine, or law just because dad wants you to.

Ever thought of what you really want to do?, an interest, maybe sports or fashion? something that's excites you, something that makes you happy even if it is not fetching you millions of dollars, now that's passion.

Passion is a desire, a strong desire that can make you do amazing things. It includes the desire to change, serve, or achieve a goal. Most successful persons possess passion for their specialty. They are consumed and obsessed, it burns within them like fire. You will never have significant success with anything until it becomes an obsession. You are so passionate you will do anything just to be successful in that field. Passion can push you through difficult situations because you do not care what it takes to become better.

Most persons are faced with this problem, they find it difficult to know what interests them. The good news is, you can help yourself through this phase. Finding your passion is a journey In itself so not knowing what you are passionate about shouldn't Scare you. Try new things, get involved in different activities, and one day you will discover your obsession, and when you do, don't give up on it.

• You've discovered your passion but you've done nothing about it?

This right here, is a little bit of an issue. Some persons know what they're passionate about, but then they've done nothing about it, passion without work or action is totally useless. Yeah, I love acting, I'd love to be like Taraji P Henson, I'd love to be like Will Smith, but then you work with a firm that's into printing, no relation whatsoever. Maybe you've got a job that earns you well, but then it doesn't allow you follow your passion, you probably scared things might go sour if you change things up. Taking decisions that'll help shape our lives are often the hardest, No one said it is gonna be easy, but then if we do not leave our comfort zone we will never find out what we've been missing out on.

• Push Yourself

Now, you've discovered your passion, and you're working on it, a quick reminder, it ain't gonna be all easy and smooth, push yourself. Push your limits, there'll be obstacles, setbacks, disappointments, rejections, but then you ain't letting any of that get you. Keep pushing, keep striving, in the end, it's gonna be worth it. Remember, You will only be remembered in life for your obsession, Henry Ford (automobile), Steve Jobs(Apple).
