My 2018 Blueprint: Focus on Travel and Things for this New Year

Hello. 2017 is almost over and is only now that I am able to start posting. So let me start by introducing myself and be one of the first to greet you all a Happy New Year!

Who am I

My name is Estella and I love to travel anywhere in the word using public transportation. Well, I have to. I do not know how to drive. Maybe I will one of these days, but in the meantime, I make it a point to use public transportation to and fro airports and the different tourist attractions. I also like to find stuff online and save. So beginning now up to 2018, I plan to write about travel and different things I find interesting or bought.

Stuff I buy online

I love shopping online. I hate accumulating stuff and not being able to use them, but I still shop. Why? Believe it or not, I buy because I think I am doing something to achieve something. For instance, I saw this book by Lauren Roxburgh called Taller, Slimmer, Younger which convinced me that I will be able flush out toxins and look slimmer and younger in 21 days if I do the foam roller exercises recommended. Who wouldn't want to look younger and slimmer? And guess what? I bought the foam rollers designed by the book author. Yes, rollers. Not one, but two: the regular sized LoRox Aligned Foam Roller and the Travel Roller. I bought them way back in September 2017. And did I use it? Well, I started the Day One program in late October and forgot all about it until today during my Christmas Break. I’ll write about this in another post.

Writing about things I bought + travel

I’ve always love writing my thoughts. So why not write about the things I bought online? That will force me to use stuff and not just let them gather dust. But just writing about things might bore me so I decided to mix travel. #travelandthings I live in the East Coast and use the subway everyday. When I go to New York or even to Toronto, I usually ride the Megabus or Amtrak. I enjoyed riding public transpo so much that when I visited Los Angeles, New Orleans and even Manila and Rome, I used local transportation to go around. So this will be my beat this coming new year: travel + things.

New Year Props to welcome 2018

I just bought this #2018newyearglasses bundled with New Year invitations. Using these 2018 New Year Props is easier than the foam rollers for it does not challenge my will power. Instead of sending the invitations, I will use it as table decorations. Then, I will use the 2018 New Year Glasses as picture props.
