Pura Tanah Lot - the temple on the rock
In Indonesia, on the island of Bali there is an unusual temple from Pura Tanah Lot or "Temple of the Earth". It lies on a rock and you can get there only when the sea recedes. The rest of the time, narrow isthmus is covered by waves.
According to legend, the temple was built by the brahman Hindu Nirarthi in the fifteenth century, who came to the island along the way, shown by the divine light coming from the spring that hit from the shores of the stones of Tanah Lot. This embryo has survived until now, the water is considered curative("Wikipedia")
