About the human being. Various Portraits #5

Hello everyone! I'm passing by to share another of my portraits from the series I'm currently working on "about the human being" in which I have set out to make the portraits that appear in the documentary "HUMAN's Musics". available on youtube.

Why draw faces? well, it is one of the most recurrent themes in artistic production since ever. and every artist must undoubtedly go through these studies to know and master the anatomy of the face for its representation. on the other hand, I am interested in people in the anthropological sense, by this I mean where they come from, how are their daily lives, what are their customs, how do they face their daily experiences.

i have the suspicion that in the face all that is codified, but we are not able to see it on a superficial plane because we are perhaps too engrossed in our problems. sometimes when we talk to someone we don't even look at them directly in the face, but these turbulent times we are going through. so that makes me wonder, are our problems the biggest and only ones that matter? or does the other person who is standing in front of us also feel and suffer in the same way?

The word person has its roots in antiquity and refers to a character, a word that was used to indicate the members in plays in ancient Greece. In the ancient word this word translates "reflection". I find it a very beautiful word in the human term, since one way to see it is that people are reflections. Reflections of their internal world as well as the external world and of course of their peers, other people, other reflections. So I will leave the question open, if other people are our reflection, in what way should we behave towards our equals? what is our true purpose towards the other? and finally, how different am I from the other?
