Local coffeeshops are the best!!!
Yes the big green chain coffee shops can make you a cup of coffee. But can they give you an amazing atmosphere, friendly people and GREAT coffee??
A local coffee shop we have in town is one of the best I have ever been too (Not only saying that cause I work here haha). It's placed directly next to train tracks going through the small town, so you will be able to hear a train pass by every few hours. It was was an old home that was bought and turned into a bakery first, then into a coffee shop. The owners named the shop after their daughter. It has lots of old coffee knick knacks and antique train items.
Filled with plenty of friendly people, smiling faces, fantastic coffee, and an amazing cozy atmosphere, I often end up spending most of my days here.
One of my favorite drinks we make would probably be the JackFrost Its Cinnamon, White Chocolate, and Peppermint. @findingjoy likes sweet drinks like the Carmel Macchiato. My dad @daddykirbs is boring... he drinks straight black coffee! eww.

Ahhh hazelnut coffee is pretty great! I actually will put the hazelnut syrup in my hot chocolate haha.
I don't drink much coffee but when I do it has to be sweet! Straight black...yeah I agree with you there!

Love it! Back when we had our small espresso cafe, my fave was a quad shot mocha mint latte...I've had to switch to decaf over the past few years, but still love that mocha mint!
Mocha mint? Sounds interesting, i'll have to try it sometime.
@espenkirby great post. I'm with @findingjoy, I love the caramel macchiato as well.
