In The Year 2019

You may have noticed that I haven’t been around. To be exact, for a year. I skipped the year 2019 online and focused living the offline life(Lol, ”focused”)
I can’t say that anything exciting happened during last year, changing job, city and apartment aren’t really dealbreakers anymore if you know me at all. In 2019 I decided that I want to have a job with ”office hours” and weekends off. And because I work in restaurant business, it is easier to say than done. Wanting and actually finding an interesting or at least a decent job with decent income are two totally different things.

Somehow I made it anyway, by accident. I applied like a dozen different, some how restaurant business related office jobs and the answer were always the same: almost, but unfortunately we decided to carry on with someone who had more experience.

So, I applied to somewhere I knew I would get in, place to whatI had experience, tons. I applied a vacancy of a sous chef and they called me on it, unfortunately they had already hired someone but they were so impressed on my cv that they wanted to offer me something else and asked me to come and talk a little more.

Long story short, they offered me a job, as a baker and superior chef. And the place would be entirely new. In the new restaurant I would have section of my own, bakery where I could do basically what ever I wanted.

Pinch me please !

Even though things worked out, I’ve worked crazy hours. I took the job so I wouldn’t have to work so much but that kind of back fired. Happily for now I really like it.
