OK, I admit that the title of this article is a bit misleading.
Not Steem!
- The platform is on EOS and it has its own tokens.
- Maybe not everybody has been waiting for the platform to evolve and mature :)
In my personal opinion, Steem along with many frontends and application is de facto the best and the most used blockchain based platform. When it comes to something more than just simple transactions ...

This line is strangely familiar, don't you think?
What about this one:

So, has this overhaul already happened or is it yet to happen?
Eh, enough of guessing. We have some interesting times ahead.
a major player (with so much time and 4kkk dollars in the pocket) did not even delivered mvp yet. and there not much happiness about kyc around.

Yet they know the marketing part better than Steemit Inc. :)
Let's see what their devs are capable of ...

I think it has been a complete deception, despite they are big and they can do better marketing than Steemit, it seems to be very centralized and also controller...
Well, I don't know ...
Since posting this post above, without knowing much about it (MEOS, Voice, whatever, ...) I've read several articles here including the comments.
It is obvious that people posters and commenters disagree on almost every aspect :)
The name - voice - some like it, some don't
The KYC - some are strongly opposed, some want it. Yet, we don't know now how will it really look like...
The purpose - Twitter, facebook, something else or more, ...?
Competition to Steem or ... - more and more voices are for cooperation or mutual progress at least.
Budget and result - well, on this one we can all agree that much more can be expected from block.one since they have a multitude of time bigger purse.
And I surely left an aspect or two out. Unsellable token, no bots, no multitude of accounts, ...
The conclusion is that this news is good for Steem. It steers the excitement, it brings possible initiative, it makes waves :).
Ps3: and I was thinking of selling my EOS. Well, I'll wait a bit longer to see how this all will play out.
