NiceHash Miner New Version Is Available
Yes, I am still running NiceHash miner in the background on my home desktop machine. I noticed that it greets me with the following message:
A new version of NiceHash Miner is ready to install
Let's install update
After clicking the Install Update button and confirming the Administrative rights alert the miner closes and the download begins.
The install is swift and soon it greets me with ...
Miner scripts are downloaded, the best mining pool location is determined, CPU and GPU are benchmarked.
Then the niner starts anew.
Version number changed from 2.0.1.11 to 2.0.2.1. So it is is a minor upgrade, I suppose.

Have you noticed increased profitability? I am running 2 rigs and considering updating. But it’s still in Alpha status so not super stable yet.
No, I didn't notice any change. It is too early yet. Besides, this is an ordinary i7 machine with FTX 1050 GPU, no dedicated rig.

Well, today and at this time it probably isn't. Not when you mine at home with your personal computer.
Remember though that you will hold what you've mined and that the price will rise eventually. Hopefully :)
