First Commercial Flying Automobile
Dutch company PAL-V presented its first commercial vehicle that can drive on the roads and fly in the air and is in line with all the regulations.

The price? 499,000 Euros / $599,000 (without taxes and additional works) for the first 99 models. The Liberty Sport model, which will follow, will cost 299,000 Euros / $399,000 only.

Be sure to see the end of this video. The vehicle on the race track is behaving more like a motorcycle. It must be great and exciting to drive it.
Personal Opinion
I like it a lot. OK, we are not quite there with the vehicle that can instantly change its nature and take off smoothly but this machine is a big step forward.
With the forthcoming commercial introduction of PAL-V Liberty the other players in the field will follow. Prices will get lower too hopefully.

Authorities' headache
You need a driver's license and a pilot's license, of course. This vehicle is a gyroplane and it is said that flying it is easier than flying and ordinary airplane.
Good luck selling it. Too much authorities issues.
:) It is the future. Maybe not this one but some form of amphibian personal vehicle will emerge sooner or later.
Wonder how far it can go before it runs out of fuel? It seems pretty small.

It has two engines - one for driving and other for flying.
Maximum range is 400 to 500 km with 4,3 hours of flight. Quite enough I would say. All figures are without reserve fuel for additional half an hour of flying - a safety margin.
