Meetup in Dublin Report

It was a cold wet day in Dublin attending my first Steemit Meetup but ironically that meant my glasses fogged up with Steem when I entered the pub. After the fog cleared from my glasses I looked around and the place was packed ...

but to my disappointment most weren't there for the Steemit Meetup :(

Interesting Company

@beanz @demotruk @ishtar and me @eroche made it. It was good to talk to others that are passionate about Steemit, hear stories from Steemfest and share and learn some new things about the platform. @beanz has posted a video of the 4 of us on her feed https://steemit.com/dublin/@beanz/dublin-steemit-meetup. Inspiration

The night did give me inspiration for my next series of posts. A few years ago a man wrote a book about his visit to all the pubs in Dublin. Yes All 900 of them!. Yesterday in the Long Hall we chose a corner to raise the Steemfest Scarf and as it happened next to us a sign for the book, "Dublin Pubspotters guide" on the wall.

I wont make it to all the pubs but I am going to plan out a route around Dublin city center and visit as many of the great traditional ones that I haven't been to yet. Along the way I will post about my journey and write about the pubs that I visit. If anyone wants to join me on an evening to learn about Steem, or discuss anything Steem or Crypto related they will be welcome. It will be a sort of regular meetup for anyone that is interested. Inspired by @mallorcaman s post today I will also try to convince any interested Bartenders along the way to accept Steem as payment. I wonder how many I can convert? I will post details of this journey and series again when I have mapped out a route so stay tuned.
