Cryptocurrencies in 4 Words or Less

Of the 1000+ Cryptos out there how many are doing something new?

Are Bitcoin, Dash, Monero, Bitcoin Cash really aimed at different markets? These coins are similar because they focus on being a payment currency. There are differences of course such as privacy, governance, centralisation, ... but take Steem on the other hand. I am sure most would agree that Steem is quite different than these payment currencies, but then again Steem could be used as a payment currency.

It's not always that easy to classify different coins. Their use cases are evolving.

I am putting it out for the Steemit Community to classify any coin they wish using 4 words or less.

I will compile the list and create a follow up post with the results of the most popular descriptions.

How to Participate

Add a comment to this post with the name of any coin followed by individual words that describe it. You can submit multiple coins in one comment as follows.

e.g.

• Bitcoin: gold, payment, retail, decentralised, slow
• Ethereum: apps, payment, fast

There is no "right answer", this is a subjective crowd sourced initiative and even one word comments will be helpful.
