Gridcoin chess tournament (May 6 + 7): you can still sign up
We've now feedback from 10 of the 15 players for the chess tournament:
The most liked 2 dates are (A):
- D: Saturday, May 6 (16:00 - 18:00 UTC)
- G: Sunday, May 7 (16:00 - 18:00 UTC)
My suggestion is now to make:
- 2-hour tourneys on both dates
- games are 5 minutes without time increment (meaning: each player gets 5 minutes time, the winner is who checkmates first or has not exceeded his time limit)
- and then we can give prizes to the overall top3 from both tournaments (B)

- (A) Since we have also quite high votes for C + F (each 5 votes) like D + G (each 6 votes), I hope that the 4 PM UTC selection comes closer to their wish

I propose that the player with most points wins 60% of the reward, second placed 30% and third 10% (a token reward). Gridcoin strives for excellence in all things, we don't want to support inept players :)
