My desert element.

I love the ocean where I grew up, but I have also left a piece of my heart in the desert. It's one of the places where I'm happiest. I could go to the Moroccan Sahara or Zion National Park any day. I think it's something about the blue sky and rocks of red, orange and yellow. This photo (with Prisma filter) is from one of my favorite desert hikes ever, out in Joshua Tree National Park.
