Some Poetry for My First Post

Envelope me in black cold sheets
Of despair and agony
The night's coming now
The dark cold night
And when reaching out to you
You turn away - So far away
What have I done, What can I do
And we slowly fade away

The longest year of my life
For you had been given
And for nothing, no return
I have been driven

No more
Cold nights alone
No more
A stranger in this home

Shake off the cold, retreat
To the confines of my mind
The night, it ends
And the sun shines again
I'm leaving you now
I'm going away
Nothing else to be done
As I slowly fade away
