This Is Not Going To End Well

Today while working in the kitchen I was listening to the radio. A scientist was talking about climate change in my country. He said the weather is changing, we mostly have only two seasons as spring and autumn is becoming shorter every year and he was so right.

Life is a constant rush and Ylyou don't think much of these things as there is no time but I notice it ever year as there are clothes and shoes I don't wear because the weather is changing so fast.

Sometimes there's still snow at the beginning of April and after that comes a hot wave and temperature rises up to almost 30°C. This is not normal in my country, at least till now it wasn't normal but maybe soon this is going to be the new normal.

Now you may ask yourself what do I care about these things? Life is beautiful, Steem still has value, Max Verstappen has won the German Grand Prix, Ronaldo is still a superstar, Gucci and Versace are still available everywhere, McDonald's is going to sell meatless burgers, marijuana will be legalized soon and so on. What do I care, right? Well, I care because I pay attention to the details and can't be ignorant.

Look at this photo. If I would have seen this photo on the internet, would have said it's fake, it's photoshopped. Why? Because this is not normal. It's not normal to see a leaf like that, almost completely dry next to a green, not ripened grape. When leaves start to change colour, grapes are half ripened already.

This photo is real, unfortunately and was taken by me tonight in the garden. It's the end of July, there are still two or three months to go till grapes are ready.

This leaf is completely dry and it's not the only one unfortunately. I've never seen such dry leaves at the end of July. I don't know what is going to happen to the grapes but I hope the rest of the leaves are not going to dry.

This is not normal and not good either. Tomorrow I'm going to have a closer look to see how bad it is. Fingers crossed! 🤞 I want to make grape jam this year.
