Journal (An Original Poem)
turn to that blank page,
catalogue all of the
watchful fallacies,
anxieties on paper
and all the other things
that shaped us
into who it is we are
boxing shadow puppets
seeking hurts to revisit
platitudes with attitude,
shame and blame
of insidiousness,
just hear that choir sing
and the hurt that brings
such a chronicle of
clear consequence,
a blueprint of
every one of our pieces
and how they fit together
the scribbles help
us see the bullshit
that resides in our blind spots
it will be the roadmap
that allows us to step aside
and the get the hell
out of our own way.

Are you, Sir, talking about something that will be like the image that we put in the kaleidoscope, and one day we rotate it to look at the pages (journal, as you said) of our silliness??
"Dives into the inner recesses that deep." Thank you, Sir.
Hi, @keuudeip! When I wrote this I was just envisioning how much journaling teaches us about ourselves. Often times we figure out how we're our own worst enemies and the journal offers us a chance to discover this and heal from it. I appreciate you reading the post and taking the time to comment!
Exactly as you said, sir, that is a moment of pure honesty, and thank you for replying to my comments.
