False flags, how fake are fake attacks?

It is fairly common knowledge now, (though still not as common as it should be,) that the government routinely commits attacks on its own populace known as “false flags” the purpose of these attacks is to anger the public so they become blind to the facts and show a false sense of nationalism. The name comes from the fact they are waving the flag of their country under false pretenses.

Nobody really knows when these attacks started, many say Operation Northwoods in the 60's, others say the Lavon Affair in the 50's, others point to the McCollum memo in the 40's. Personally I believe these were several centuries, if not millennia, late to be the start of the false flag strategy. That said they are certainly prime examples of confirmed and declassified false flag operations or plans in the modern era.

The fact is however that these types of operations exist, this is a matter of public record. Many people, myself included speculate that most modern “terror” attacks in the West are false flags meant to justify a stance of perpetual war in the Middle and Near East. Something that takes the lives of millions of civilians, ruins the lives of tens if not hundreds of millions of others, and makes billions of dollars for the war profiteers even while wrecking the economy of many nations. The most famous of these being 9/11, which justified the original invasion into Afghanistan and Iraq, neither country having anything to do with the attacks.

While many people remain unaware of our governments' atrocities, which is a pain in the ass for everyone paying attention, even many of us who are aware of false flags seem to miss something important...
I have heard on several occasions that people who believe in false flags, believe nobody dies in them.

The entire point of a false flag is often to rally support for a war. When plotting to kill thousands or even millions of civilians, who counts a couple dozen any differently? Whether an attack on the scale of 9/11 or a shooting at a school filled with even the youngest of children, people who commit this kind of atrocity do not care. They are evil men and will kill innocents to get their way. Then they will blame others, often killing them, so they have a pasty that fits their political agenda. Besides, do you really think nobody died on 9/11?
