A uniqe daily workout to summarise and visualise some information on five selected significant events on this day in history. It is my special effort for steemit. Daily Courant, the UK's first national newspaper, has been published.

1970

Saddam Hussein and Mustafa Barzani founded Iraqi Kurdistan Autonomous Region.

1990

Lithuania left the Soviet Union and proclaimed its independence.

2004

A bombed assault on train stations was made in Madrid. 191 people were killed, more than 1,800 were injured.

2011

The largest earthquake in Japan (Tsunami) took place. Earthquake magnitude 8.9.
