Know your Circle
People appear like angels until you hear them speak. You must not rush to judge people by the colour of their cloaks, but by the content of their words!
Everybody isn't your friend, just because they hang around you and laugh with you doesn't mean they are your friend. People pretend well and in as much as the Bible teaches us to love others as ourselves, we should always do that with caution because not everyone who smiles at you is your friend and time and situations usually reveals the true intentions of people. A friend today could be an enemy tomorrow.
There's a popular saying that goes like this.."know your circle,make sure everybody in your boat is rowing and not drilling holes when you are not looking ".
Some people are only good at stabbing people in the back
More so, we should always pay close attention to the attitudes of our closest friends since it influences our lives positively or negatively as it's stated in ^Proverbs 11:14 Without wise leadership, a nation is in trouble; but with good counselors there is safety.^ 1 Corinthians 15:33 Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character."
In all this, it will be best we make Jesus Christ our one and only friend. You just don’t gain friendship with Christ by obeying. You must recognize that you are a sinner in need of a Savior. God desires perfection and you cannot meet the requirements. Out of His love God came down in the flesh. Jesus lived the life you couldn’t live and was crushed for your sins.
He died, He was buried, and He was resurrected for your transgressions. You must repent and trust in Christ. You must trust in what Christ has done for you. Jesus is the only way. Obeying the Bible doesn’t save me, but since I truly do love and appreciate Christ I will obey. If you have truly been saved and if you are truly a friend of Christ you will obey Him and i believe it's that simple.
John 15:14-16
"You are my friends if you do what I command you. I no longer call you slaves, because the slave does not understand what his master is doing.
But I have called you friends, because I have revealed to you everything I heard from my Father. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that remains, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you. No friend can truly love us the way Jesus Christ does . ^ John 15:13 No one has greater love than this—that one lays down his life for his friends.^.

Amazingstoke huh?, well.. he's started working now. He started on Monday. He's holding up pretty well for a first-time traveller..🙂
He just complains of the weather sometimes, too chilly he says..
🤣 You can tell him from me that at the moment... "It's fucking freezing" 🥶 I'm assuming he's already had the wisdom to invest in a nice warm coat, gloves, scarf and wooly hat! And if he's "lucky" he might get to see some snow... if he hasn't experienced it before 🙂
