Skills or Talents
Hello everyone, how are you all today? I'm pleased to take part in this contest that was manually published by @bossj23 here in the Steem4nigeria community. Many thanks for your fantastic write-up.

In your own words tell us what you think a skill is and what a talent is.
A skill is the aptitude for successfully completing a series of tasks. Through perseverance, instruction, and practice, particular skills can be developed.
Talent, on the other hand, is the innate ability to learn a certain skill or combination of skills. In contrast to talent, which can be learned, talent is a collection of innate abilities that one is born with.
Both talent and skill are used to express an aptitude for a particular task, however outside of informal contexts, talent is typically used to represent something that a person is naturally excellent at, whilst skills is typically used to describe something a person becomes good at via practice and training.
Which of them do you prefer and why
For me, both are preferable because talent and skill go hand in hand and a skill can be easily gained with commitment and effort. Anyone can master a skill, but if it's performed without talent, it won't be original, and you'll continue to live in poverty. It's necessary to understand that both talent and skill have advantages and can contribute to success in various ways.

Yes, I possess both talent and skill. For example, I have the talent to play football, which I have loved doing since the day I was born. Through the process of honing my talent, I have also learned many football-related skills, and I can play the game very well. I also have the talent to draw, which is great because when you have a talent and also pursue further education in it, skills will naturally develop. Therefore, both go hand in hand.
