Basic Security on Steem.

There are basically 4 Steem keys with different functions relating to different activities in Steem.These keys include active key, memo key, master key,posting key. Tron private key
Tron public key.

QUESTION 1: Have you saved all keys on your Steemit.

I have saved all the keys with regards to my account by downloading using the chrome app, encrypted and saved my Google drive and Gmail account as draft,also in the form of a PDF file and also made some scans for safe keeping.

QUESTION 2: Do you know all the functions and restrictions of each of these keys?

I know the importance of each key so as well as their restrictions which am going to outline below

i)Master key: It is the most important key amongst all the keys since it provides access to your Steemit account and also helps to retrieve other keys.

ii) Active key : This key takes care of all transactions in your account ( vote for a witness, convertion of SBD, power up or down,transfer of tokens,and activities which concerns profile and cover photos

iii) posting key : This is another vital key which in it's absence there will be no posting,upvoting and downvoting a post,muting an account, editing and commenting on a post and to also follow

iv) Owners key: It deals with recovery and and resetting of the other keys Incase of any malfunction.

v) Memo key: It deals mainly with encrypted information (messages) either by sending or viewing

vi) Tron Account keys. There two types private key ( deals with transfers, voting,freezing) and public key (used for transfers)

QUESTION 4: Do you know about the transfer of STEEM token to another account?

This is how STEEM tokens can be transferred from one account to another 👇

i) login and go to your wallet by clicking wallet

ii) Click on STEEM tokens and select transfer

iii) Enter recipients i.d and the required amount then select next

iv) Copy and paste your active key to initiate the transfer

QUESTION 5: Do you know how to power up STEEM?

You can power up your Steem by
i) Clicking on wallet

ii) Click on STEEM and select power up

iii) write down the amount of token you want to convert to STEEM and click on power up

iv) Click Ok to initiate the power up
