Encouraging...Building ...Helping One Another - Enjoy with Troy!
I often use analogies or life stories when I write to help emphasize a point. As many in the Steemit community and @familyprotection know we had a basement fire at mom's house on April 22 resulting from a faulty dehumidifier. It left the house intact but caused much smoke damage throughout the basement and upstairs kitchen. The basement is now clean and I hope to paint the walls and floor this coming week. The contents from the basement is in the garage. I am having to scrub each item with Dawn dish washing soap. I will need to replace windows, insulation, sump pump, carpet and the dehumidifier. UGH!!

As I am an only child it is all on my shoulders. I have two friends, Jeff and Mark, who have helped me get through some of the hurdles when their schedules allowed. For that I am grateful both to them and God. It made me think of how they knew my need and were willing to help.
A parallel can be drawn to victims of the CPS
Sadly many families suffer the horrific damages caused by the CPS. These families were once happy and free. But children are uprooted into unfamiliar and dangerous living situations away from their families and natural surroundings. Both parents and children experience tears, pain and countless unanswered question all from the greed and selfish power of the social worker.
Damage is done
Families incur countless forms of devastation for this tragedy including the following.
Loss of trust in others
Physical abuse
sexual abuse
weigh gain or loss
diminished performance in school or work
outbursts of tears
increase of emotional walls
increased chance of using drugs
increased moodiness
Using lying by children
isolation
less financial stability
less chance of entering college
higher chance of not completing high school
Increased chance of only finding low wage jobs
never seeing dreams through.
Never seeing your child or family.

The list goes on and on...and on!
You may remember how I told you that Jeff and Mark saw my need and offered to help me to clean up my damage from the fire. Well these folks nee our help. They were hit with a devastation all their own. You can find them in every community our there. They need a friend... a Mark or Jeff... to lift them up out of their own soot. I would encourage all of us to find someone in the community you live in and reach out to them. Listen to them and offer encouragement. Help them trust again and believe in themselves. Help them get their families back. Emotional support and being a good friend goes along way in the recovery process. People remember that and good positive energy is formed. There is no time like the present and no present like your time.

Make a difference in the life of a CPS victim.
in addition to listening and being emotional support, there are countless other things you can do. Here are a few ideas.
Offer to babysit if they need time away
Offer them a ride to the grocery store
Invite them to church
Invite them to functions with your family
Help them with writing or transcribing documents
Make sure they exercise and are eating properly
Help them in managing their stress if they have trouble
offer them social interaction to balance their lives
help then to not resort to harmful addiction or suicide
Pray for them
Point them to people that may help them
Again the list goes on and on... and on

A good friend goes a long way in healing and helping. Be one!
You can be instrumental in helping them deal with their stress and securing a healthy balance. When they deal with the CPS they need to have this balance to be healthy and less vulnerable to the dangers the system offers. You can bring this balance in their life...and make a difference! You can bring @familyprotection alive through reaching out to others. You can make the difference.

the material losses can be recovered, take a break and think that your mother is well and nothing else happens, that will surely give you energy. And yes, we can all do something for the families that are fighting against the horror of the CPS
