... flower, called marigold or in Latin zageres (german: studentenblume) is still blooming almost 9 month a year...once planted, they mostly appear every year again..when it wilted, every petal is a seed, which you can hold for the next year..by the way, you can eat leaves and flowers, they re looking really nice on top of a fresh salad or on the side of the plate...like this wonderful marigold there are many flowers and plants around us you can eat, I.e. the lovely daisy..but don’t take the ones growing near the street or where dogs and other animals make their businesses.....voila, bon appetite...
