Beloved of our @steemchurch, The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ is with you, today came to my heart this word which touched me, and made me remember how good God has been with our lives; and how ungrateful we sometimes turn out to be, the issue is about being grateful to our Lord and to all those people who in some way bring benefits to our lives. Thankfulness is a feeling of esteem and appreciation for someone who has done us a favor or rendered some service therefore we should acknowledge to them that feeling of affection in Luke 17 verses 11-19 says the following we read it under the blessing of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Luke 17: 11-19
11 When Jesus went to Jerusalem, he passed between Samaria and Galilee.
12 When he entered a village, he was met by ten leprous men, who stopped at a distance.
13 And they lifted up their voices, saying: Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!
14 When he saw them, he said to them: Go, show yourselves to the priests. And it happened that as they were going they were cleaned.
15 Then one of them, seeing that he had been healed, returned, glorifying God with a loud voice,
16 And he fell on his face to the ground at his feet, giving thanks; and this one was a Samaritan.
17 Jesus answered and said, "Is it not ten who are cleansed? And the nine, where are they?
18 Was there no one who returned and gave glory to God but this foreigner?
19 He said to him, "Get up, go; Your faith has saved you.

These people who suffered from leprosy could not get close to anyone, they had to leave the place where they lived and begin to wander through the countryside, in solitude. I was forbidden to approach any group of people. Before making him leave where they resided, he was given a set of things composed of a gray hood, which kept from the sight of the rest his horrible wounds, leather boots, a cane and, finally, some castanets or a bell to go while warning them of his presence by making it sound and thus avoiding contact, Jesus nevertheless had compassion on them and sent them to appear before these people, while they were healed, there were ten, and only one looking healthy was returned to give thanks, I imagine the disappointment of our Lord to see that those nine did not return, so it happens even today, people who have received miracles from God at the level of health, spiritual and even financially are ungrateful to our God, do not even appreciate the food , the dress or the shoes to name a few.

But here is something relevant in this passage of Luke "and said: stand up your faith has saved you" beloved brothers who is in the spirit understands the things of the Spirit, this man to return and give thanks and glory to God so what he had done for him, he was recognizing the son of God as his Lord because he believed in Him, and the word says John 5:24"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and does not come to condemnation, but has passed from death to life." This leper was saved for eternal life plus the nine who did not return were healthy from his leprosy but I doubt they were saved for eternal life.

How to thank God for what he has done in our lives:

First we must know the following:

Romans 12: 2 (NRV)
"Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God."

The current version says:

Romans 12: 2
"And do not live as the whole world lives, on the contrary, change your way of being and thinking, so you can know what God wants, that is, everything that is good, pleasant and perfect.

Here it is said that the will of God is "pleasant and perfect".

Sometimes we are not happy with what we have, sometimes we ask God for things from which we do not get an answer; even in this we should be grateful because if we are children of the Most High God, we will know that dad who knows everything and sees things before us, is aware of what is good for us or not.

Romans 8:28
"And we know that those who love God, all things work together for good, that is, those who are called according to their purpose.

Our Lord Jesus gave thanks to God the Father as he shows it; (Matthew 11: 25) "On that occasion Jesus exclaimed:" I bless you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and you have revealed them to little ones. "

  • Be grateful to God by doing small acts of favor for others who need and want.

  • Be grateful to God when we receive the favors we have asked for and his blessings.

  • Be grateful to God for everything; for the good and also for the bad because of it you learn.

  • Be grateful to God at all times and times, say when we get up, thank you Lord and when we lie down, Grace Lord, because many of you can not even see the
    dawn.

We must be at all times in the spirit of gratitude; This pleases God.

Here are some verses where we are exhorted to be grateful:

"Be joyful always, pray without ceasing, give thanks to God in every situation, for this is your will for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18,

"Do not worry about anything; rather, on every occasion, with prayer and petition, present your requests to God and give thanks. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will take care of your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. "Philippians 4: 6-7

Praise the Lord because he is good,
and his great love endures forever! 1 Chronicles 16:34

Because all things come from him,
and they exist for him and for him.
To him be the glory forever! Amen. Romans 11:36

Colossians 3: 15-17
"Let him govern in his heart the peace of Christ, to which they were called in one body. And be grateful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you with all its riches: instruct and admonish one another with all wisdom; sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs to God, with gratitude of heart. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do it in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. "

You will be enriched in every way so that on every occasion you can be generous, and so that through you, your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.2 Corinthians 9:11

What joy for God when he sees the gratitude of his people, we are grateful brothers.
