Crumb Snatchers!!!!
So for the last couple months my baby boy has graduated into the lovely world of crawling which makes him mobile now!!! Isn’t that awesome(some sarcasm should be detected here). That just means that he’s into everything that you can think of and even some things that you couldn’t have imagined he’d be into. The term “crumb snatcher” is almost an understatement. Let me tell you, my kid has taken baby proofing to another level. We have to proof everything from doors, cabinets, cup holders, dresser drawers, bins, boxes, refrigerators, and a bunch of other things. The floors have to stay swept and mopped even more than normal because his vision is excellent and he sees the tiniest things, and in his mouth they go! He presses buttons on the cable box, climbing stairs and all the other things he finds interesting. The funny thing is, you give him a toy he’s only going to play with it for about two seconds and then it’s on to something that’s the farthest thing from a toy, like the remote control. What’s with kids and remotes anyway??? 500 bucks to the person that answers that question(no really, don’t expect money from me lol).
But anyhoo. You read these things about baby proofing and try tell you to crawl around your house and lock up or cover anything that may be appealing to baby, it sounds stupid but I swear you better do it. And I’m not sure if it’s just my kid or what but if I say “come here” he crawls away faster! My 11 month old tries to run from me. Wow. But when he runs away it’s usually towards something he isn’t supposed to be doing which is scary. I’m just telling all you mommies definitely baby proof your home. Cover Outlet sockets, baby gates are a huge help for stairways and doorways. Close the cabinets, it’s totally easy for them to get their little fingers caught in the doors. It’s literally so much thought that goes into baby proofing and it’s totally necessary and worth it all! So baby proof baby proof baby proof!
Good luck mommies!

Thank you for the candid story! I wish you patience. This period is very short :)
Thank you for understanding, tanata, it is really a very difficult period, I have even grown thin following my baby all the time)))
Your baby is cute. You may want to consider if your post is relevant for the #life tag.
Try to use more tags. You can use up to 5 but that's a bug with using 5 now.
So, until that is fixed, 4 tags will be better than 5.
