Random Blog on Crypto (Part 43) : Another two points on how can cryptocurrencies be used to protect personal privacy?
Privacy is the most important issue for all of us in today's digital world. But in this digital world we cannot protect our privacy. Due to the use of online systems, various software and applications, we have to give permission to our various private information. And with all these information, different companies are getting different benefits which are a commercial matter. In the last post in this series, I covered how privacy can be somewhat protected through cryptocurrency. Today I will share two more topics with you in a series of posts.
Normally in normal financial transactions we have to share our password and important information in different places. For example, suppose you withdraw money from an ATM booth or give your payment bill to a POS machine in a shopping mall. In that case it can be seen that we are giving our PIN numbers in front of everyone or under the CCTV camera. That means there are many areas where we have to share our personal PIN or important personal number to carry out activities. But the interesting thing is that this does not have to be the case with cryptocurrencies. To carry out such activities we are given the public key and with that public key we can do many things. And there is no problem in sharing what is public. Rather, there is a problem with sharing PIN numbers. So by using cryptocurrency we can avoid stealing our identity or sharing pin number in open space. Cryptocurrencies offer a robust defense against identity theft. The use of private keys for wallet access adds an extra layer of security.
Another important topic to share today is unnecessary scrutiny. When we conduct our activities through any system of the government, sometimes the government or institutions harass us unnecessarily. They often disturb us unnecessarily and want to see various bits of information and other things. This work is necessary but often unnecessary and just causes annoyance due to unnecessary scrutiny. In regions where citizens face government surveillance or censorship, cryptocurrencies can serve as a tool for maintaining financial autonomy and privacy. By using decentralized cryptocurrencies, individuals can conduct transactions without interference from government authorities. This is protecting their financial activities from unnecessary scrutiny. Cryptocurrencies help individuals in politically sensitive environments to participate in the global economy without compromising their privacy or exposing themselves to potential persecution. Cryptocurrency transactions can give us a way out of this problem. Transactions through this currency will not have this problem at all as it is not under the control of the entire centralized authority, so there will be no possibility of any kind of scrutiny from the decentralized authority to cause undue division.
