Power Up is very important to all of us because when we consistently power up then our capability increases here in this blockchain. To be successful here in this blockchain we have to have power so that we can influence others with our voting power. If we have power and we can cast our vote to the quality content then the content creators will be motivated enough to come forward to making Quality content. In that way the steemit platform will grow. When the Steem blockchain will grow then all the users will be benefited from it because the price will go up.
So, at the end of the day power up is very important and if we can Power up regularly then it will be easy for all of us to have a good amount of power after a certain period of time. For example, if we set a plan for 5 years then it will be a huge power in our wallet if we regularly power up. Powering up every week is the key to success here for achieving a good amount of power.

A power up initiative has been taken in this community to influence the common uses to achieve power (Steem Power-SP). You have to just follow the rules and power up every week to participate in this initiative. I personally always prefer to power up every week so that we can have a consistency of power up. Hopefully your power will be in a good stable position after a certain period of time when you continuously power up. It's much needed for your long-term benefit.
