Lets talk about internet speed and Data packages in Bangladesh
Intro:
We are constantly using data packages or data. But this MB, GB which we call it is an important and discussed issue of the present time because we are always buying data packages for this internet connection. Where we are given a certain amount of data at a certain price. Although we know that companies do not buy such data from the government or from submarine cable rather, they buy bandwidth but they give data when they give it to us. This makes them a good profit.

Basic of Internet Data:
Almost everyone knows the calculation of data package.
- And that is, 1 byte = 8 bits (b)
- Thus, 1 Kilobyte = 1024 bytes (B)
- 1 Megabyte = 1024 Kilobytes (KB)
- 1 GigaByte = 1024 MegeBytes (MB)
- 1 Terabyte (TB) = 1024 Gigabytes (GB)
It is easy to see that the numbers are not multiples of 10 or so. The reason for this is that almost everyone knows that binary numbers are two different electrical signals and therefore the number has increased due to the power of 2 and so it has become 2, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512 and 1024.
Data packages in Bangladesh:
In our country, the name of data has now become MB. It is often heard in public that I will buy MB. That is, the unit has taken the place of the quantity. In a real sense, it is buying a data package. And this data specific unit is KB, MB or GB etc.
So, let's get to the real thing. Companies buy a certain Gbps (Gigabit per second) data from the government but the companies provide it to the customers in MB or GB format instead of Mbps. Let’s give me an example on that. The thing is that the company got a road 10 meters wide. Now if a person of one-meter size is allowed to walk on the road, then only ten people can walk together. But if these people are allowed to walk back and forth or with more opportunities when they need more, then many people will be allowed to walk on this 10-meter-wide road. And in this way, companies buy a certain bandwidth and give it in the form of data instead of bandwidth for more utilization based on the peak and off-peak hours of the customers. I personally think that it is not the fault of a large number of people to use it for the convenience of use, although there is dissatisfaction among many.

Again, with this MB the term is easily extended resulting in a lot of people being able to walk easily along this 10-meter road but not being able to run or cross 10 people as fast as before. As a result, since the money will increase exponentially with the expiration of the tenor of data package, everyone stays within the budget to get their suitable data package. In this way, by combining peak and off-peak hours, the companies are able to provide MB internet facility from that specific Gbps all over the country.
Internet as a gift:
Data or MB may be the best gift in today's youth society at least for those who do not have WiFi or broadband line at home who has only option in their hands is to buy data and use the internet connection. They are happy with MB or GB for a good tenor so that they can use internet. So, the limitations of happiness are now gone on the internet speed on mobile phones or computer with data usage which was previously limited to cricket bat or football.

Finally:
When we do not have connection from internet service provider or use with broadband line where we are given Mbps. Although in many cases, it happens that the bandwidth that we have been given orally but the bandwidth decreases only when everyone shares the peak hours together. Mbps or Kbps is always used to measure bandwidth. And the quality of these Kbps and Mbps varies between upload and download and server-to-server. The speed of internet usage depends not only on the speed of broadband but also on the proximity of the server from which we are using the data or the type or service delivery. We are using shared Mbps that’s when its peak time, users are more, not getting the specified most of the time.
