While i do agree, facebook is crazy some days ; people can use social media to make money - look at any kind of affiliate market place for instance, best buy has an affiliate program, were people create their own page, and sell items from best buy, some even do it with amazon, or both, or any other place that has a similar program .
Facebook in itself even censors your posts if you get too popular too quickly, its been getting stupid ; which is why i joined steemit a while back, and ive now only been using facebook to tell people to make the same change - im hoping steemit will kill facebook, much the same way facebook killed off myspace all those years ago !
Truth social media should and can be used for positive whether financially or spiritually. My issue is I have been on there for over 10 years with over 1,200 friends. I would say only 25-50 of those friends use it properly. People use it to keep tracks on you or to vent crap that no one whats to hear. On steemit there is a purpose and you get paid so it is in one's best interest to create interesting content. I will definitely be keeping my business pages...just deleting the personal account...useless.
I agree 100%, people dont use facebook correctly, i share information on government and i study religion and other stuff like law and politics, facebook is valuable for sharing information, but that is the problem, is that people deliver random crap or just use it to stalk people, i truly believe that steemit will kill facebook the same way myspace died .
