Is a privilege to be here,how are you guy, hope all is well with you,please join me as we venture into the uses of all the keys that was shortlisted before we signed up on steemit.

DIFFERENT STEEMIT KEYS AND THEIR FUNCTION'S

THE MASTER PASSWORD
This key is the password with a veto power on its user's account in that with it the user's will be able to carry out all manner of activities such as generation of all other keys thus this key should be handle with utmost care because if it gets into the wrong hands the user's will no longer have access to his/her account where by losing everything he/she have acquired

THE OWNER KEY
This key is the most powerful key because with the key one will be able to transform any key in an account.
Its also used to recover a compromised account.

ACTIVE KEY

This is a key which is used in transaction processes like...

. Transfer of funds
. placing market order.
. Power up
. power down
. update profile details
. Convert steem dollars and
.voting operations

POSTING KEY
The posting key is what allows accounts to post comment,vote,resteem and follow or mute other account . And its adversible for steem user's to login

MEMO

This key is used for decrypting and decrypting memos during funds transfers. And in order to encrypt a memo,use the pound or #sign before it.

All this keys that has been listed above is very important to steem users, it help in protecting our account against internet hackers

--> Necessary questions that needs answer:

1)have you gotten all your steemit keys?
Yes,

2)Do you understand the terms and conditions of the keys?
Yes,

3)How do you plan to keep your passwords safe?
The best way for one to keep his or her keys secured just like I did is to forward it straight to my valid email immediately it is downloaded.

4)do you know how to transfer steem token from your account to another user?

Yes
i) login to your steemitwallet.com with your active key.

ii) click on the inverted triangle immediately beside your steem

iii) click transfer

iv) fill the form as seen in the picture below and click on next

(v) click on OK to confirm

Do you know how to power up your steem?
Yes I do, and the procedures are as follows:

i) login to steemitwallet.com with your active key

ii) click on the inverted triangle symbol beside steem

iii) select power up

Iv) input amount of steem to be powered up and click power up

v) click ok in the next page

After these processes have been completed, a message would be sent to you confirming the number of steem that have been powered up.

Note; consider the red marker for proper understanding

CONCLUSION

After going through everything, I came to realize that a lost of any of the keys, especially the owner key and master key, the account itself is as good as useless.

So, in any case all the keys are found wanting (lost) the account itself is useless.

Therefore, it becomes of utmost importance you prioritize the safety of your keys or password so that your account can be secured.
I recommend that the keys/passwords be saved in the email and also in an SD card where you can easily assess them.
