Codemason is a new service which you can deploy your apps easily.
Cloud hosting providers has created a new era which you just hack on your product and don't think about much the infrastructure. (This sometimes create unnecessary scaling problems and enermous bills but that's another subject.)
It utilizes DOCKER containers and deploys your apps in every commit to a traditional GIT repository.
You can "bring your own linuxserver" or delegate that responsibility to Codemason. They have a flexible policy on that.
The typical deployment flow consists of these steps:
- Develop the app. Write code.
- Push your changes to the GIT repository
- Create your application via the CLI tool or the web intergace.
- Run in the cloud.
Every git push triggers a docker containerization.
I have made a couple of tests and it looks like a good alternative to good, old Heroku. Waiting to see it's mature state where it can be a greater alternative.

Awesome, Heroku is still around, but Codemason seems to be a good alternative to try. We do not need to think about Infrastructure to fully focus on our apps. I think it belongs to the IaaS category.
