INTRODUCTION

Hello friends,welcome to my Diary post. I hope you all had a really wonderful day. It's another busy Monday and here's how everything went.

MORNING

I woke up really early today,5am to be precise because it's going to be a very busy day. More to that,I am going to do some cassava harvesting. It's a really strenuous exercise digging into the ground to uproot cassava and you don't need to do with when the blazing sun is hitting your back,so to avoid that you need to leave in the early hours.

I started off with doing little chores around the home and preparing breakfast with didn't take so long to finish up. I ate and by 5:50am,I left for the farm. As expected,the ground was hard due to the fact that there hasn't been enough rain to soften it so I had to put in extra effort to get what I wanted. After 5 hours of digging,uprooting,taking some water and repeating the process,I was able to harvest some. And by 10,the sun was already up and shinning,not actually blazing but mehnnnn I was tired,so I gathered the ones I had already harvested and headed home.

Getting home,I looked like I was rolled up in the dust,all sweaty and dirty. This is the part where mothers will ask you"you see how hard it is to get food?"
Yeah I see it.
I had my bath and rested a little bit to regain strength because hey the day isn't over yet.

AFTERNOON

After my little rest,I dressed up and headed to the mill. I was going to be making Soy Bean so I needed to grind it first together with other ingredients like prawns,and sun-dried unripe plantains to boost the quality and for more nutrition.

I wasted quite a lot of time at the mill
because there were people who came before me and to top it all,it rained heavily and because it was already late,transportation workers took it as their cue to close early for the day,making me trek home.

EVENING

I go home tired as well and thankfully,my cousin volunteered to prepare dinner,phew😓
I just had to store my precious Soy Bean properly and wait for dinner which came in no time. I ate,took my bath and got ready for bed.
