Being a noob to steemit you can grow a lot in a fortnight!
My first two weeks on steemit, A window into the last fortnight of @empath.
To this date, I have only kept my self open to the variety of characters which I find through searches and within steemit.chat. My feed is a colorful mix of material. I sincerely make an effort to go through and choose interesting articles to upvote. It is fun and frustrating that only a few of my real life friends were willing to join. Fun in that, I am living free of nepotism, and frustrating in that, I wanted them to start building steem 4 weeks ago. It's exciting! I thoroughly embarrassed myself inviting people but I feel like it is worth that risk. They will forgive me!
The best of days here is when I am content to dive into reading some of the material that has amassed inside of my previously scary rubber-room-like feed. Afterwards unwinding in the hilarious chats. I like the cryptocurrency information, and enjoy the life section.
I feel like being new is great there is only room to grow!
After 2 weeks I am finally starting to feel like I am somewhat aquainted with Steemit and I am still just as intrigued.

Quick question empath , how long exactly is a fortnight? I could google but I like your posts and I want to strike up a conversation.
A fortnight is 2 weeks in my use. I am now unsure of it's correct use however ;) Nice to meet you. Any stories from your first times here?
Hello empath.
I write a Steemit service project. You can participate in a beta test if you reply to this message with a either "@username" or "?username". Replace "username" with any one steemer username and add nothing else to the reply. And @ and ? do something different. Only ever second username will work at the momemt, though, you you may try two names.

STOP@empath I am gald I met you here on steemit, you as well a many others user make steemit and yunk a magnificent place, people might think I am crazy because every day here I am so happy and enjoying myself, I can tell you that steemit has a long way to go, but I am sure more people will appreciate this site.
I am also thankful for all your support and the whole community I hope to see more steemians like you that have become an example for the new users.
