WISDOM FOR LEADERSHIP | 🍨🍴🍝🍖
Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
Proverbs 4:7 KJV
[I always pray] that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may grant you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation [that gives you a deep and personal and intimate insight] into the true knowledge of Him [for we know the Father through the Son].
Ephesians 1:17
The first scripture speaks of a Father’s advice to a child while the second is Paul’s prayer for the believers in Ephesus.
I believe Walking in Wisdom is both simple and difficult. It is simple because we CHOOSE to walk in wisdom and it is difficult because it challenges everything you are and everything you know.
When it comes to Leadership, so many hide under the cover of “we are leaders of tomorrow” and not make the needed choices to walk in Wisdom
The choice to walk in wisdom is by far one of the most stretching experiences of man but it is also by far the most beneficial.
And when we speak of wisdom, we speak of God’s wisdom manifested in us and not wisdom according to the standards of the world.
Wisdom according to God’s word points us to something different as opposed to what the world says.

Wisdom is the capacity to see things from God’s perspective and to respond to them according to scriptural principles.
In other words, Wisdom is seeking heavenly opinion on earthly situations.

We are called to be Wise in every aspect of our lives.
We need God’s Wisdom* in our dealings as no aspect is beyond the need of God’s Wisdom.
The Bible declares get WISDOM; get UNDERSTANDING.

The two are not the same.
•Understanding tells us what is happening; Wisdom tells us why it is happening.
•Understanding gives us facts; Wisdom tells us what to do with the facts.
I will like to establish that we have been created Leaders and Leadership is not exactly about positions but about responsibilities.
Ask yourself, what am I responsible for?
If you are responsible for something, no matter how small, you are a LEADER!
While it is possible that some people have been wired for positional leadership, we are all wired leaders of our callings and lives.
Wisdom is knowing what God requires of us in all aspects of life.
I repeat ALL aspects.
A believer needs to be consistent.
There is no Work face and church face... there should be a consistent you in all areas
Solomon was an example of an Excellent leader. He was the described as the wisest leader in Bible history.
His demonstration of wisdom in leadership was seen in his deep awareness that he still had much to learn.
The search for Wisdom drives you to be humble but equally seeking to know more
I will ask a few questions to drive this areas I have identified.
Even though I created this, I am drawn to courage.
The questions I will post now are introspective questions meaning you don’t need to post your answer but I will encourage you all to answer them.
As a leader, What vision has God attached to my life?
Why has God placed this vision in my life?
How can I clearly translate the invisible and be inspired (inspire others) to achieve the impossible?
How do I communicate better first with God to gain clarity and the with others so that I get to share with the same clarity I received from God?
PEOPLE - Why has God placed the people I have in my life?
How can I make the most of the relationships in my life?
Even Jesus had disciples and even enemies (Stop praying for your enemies to “fall down and die…lol)
...but on a serious note, identify the key relationships God has placed in your life and have the wisdom to maximize the connections.
CHARACTER - What aspects of my life needs to improve?
How do I remain consistent in the content of my character pressure or no pressure?
How do I conduct myself in ways that gives glory to God.
COMPETENCE - What I am supposed to learn from this phase of my life?
Why do I need to develop a certain level of competence and How do I go about it?
Wisdom is knowing when you need to grow and when you have over stayed your growth level in a phase.
COURAGE - What personal adequacies do I need to overcome?
What am I afraid of and why?
SERVANTHOOD - How has God called me to serve with my gifts and abilities? How can I remain faithful?
True wisdom lies in you asking yourself the right questions, being honest with yourself but most of all, knowing the right questions to ask.
