Achievement 4 Task: Applying Markdowns
MARKDOWNS I'VE USED IN THIS BLOG
Now coming to my Achievement post, The task of this post was to apply different Markdowns in your Content as specified by @cryptokannon and I have enclosed markdowns namely Headlines, Superscripts, Links, Listing, Pic Alignment , Block quotes and GIFs in my above post.
After the approval of this Achievement post I will be working on my Achievement no. 5 and I have found that @steemcurator01 @steemcurator02 acknowledge new comers and provide them guidance for their ease and i am expecting the same support towards me.
NIGERIA
Nigeria or (Officially) Federal Republic of Nigeria. Is a country located in western coast of Africa. "Nigeria is bordered to the north by Niger, to the east by Chad and Cameroon, to the south by the Gulf of Guinea of the Atlantic Ocean, and to the west by Benin. Nigeria is not only large in area—larger than the U.S. state of Texas—but also Africa’s most populous country".
Nigeria gained her independence on 1st October, 1960 and the capital of Nigeria is Abuja and comprises of 36 States in total. "with over 370 ethnic groups and over 500 languages"Source where the three major language in Nigeria are Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba the most interesting thing is that each culture teaches respect for elders. The official language is English.
Nigeria is a country that is blessed with abundant of resources for example Nigeria is currently the largest Crude Oil producer in Africa which is her most economical resources other resources are iron ore, coal, limestone and many more. One of the set back of development and growth in Nigeria is "bad leadership and corruption"
CONCLUSION
Nigeria is really a blessed country with abundance of Natural resources, large land mass and filled with lovely and friendly people with diverse cultural practices. However bad leadership and corruption has been a treatning set back to the development and growth of the country. But I believe that the country have numerous rising of promising, talented and hard-working youths to bring back the glory of this Nation and fly the flag higher.
