Having time off from work meant not just lying on the sofa, but a fun and creative time spent with my multitalented partner, who isn't afraid to try something new, by doing a rework in our kitchen.

We first started to remove the old laminated floor, and expose the thin foam insulation, and the old tiles beneath it.

After that, the new kind of foam insulation had to be put on the tiles. We taped the edge with the aluminum adhesive tape to prevent moving. And top it off with the easy click system of vinyl floor.

When we covered all surface on the floor we realized, we have a bit of spare vinyl, so we decided that we can upgrade something else.

A simple addition we thought it would be nice.

With this, I think everything looks like it's been floating in the air. Now we are just waiting for a new cooking appliance-in grey color, which will replace the old white lady seen in the center.😇 Its oven doesn't want to work properly, so I never know if my bread will be burnt on the top, on at the bottom while the center needs to be baked.

So now you can see what can be done alone without many experts if you have just a day or two, and a bit of material. Of course, some will to be creative.
