Tosin to lybia rather than Italy

I have been thinking on how to write a story around the incident that happened to my friend in 2017. I was glad to see @swissclivd starting a contest along that line...
Scammers are real, and they come with different tactics

Yea, I said tactics because they don't operate with only one method, they have differs of methods through which they operate

This kind of a contest is a means of digging deep into those methos, so at the end of the day, people would see those red lines as a pointer of no go area

Tosin to lybia rather than Italy is a true life story of my friend, and I want us all to learn from it, especially the African that want to go to Europe or any other continent by all means

Tosin happened to be my friend, she is such a talented drummer. In fact, that's what they all do for a living in their family

On one of their outing, one woman spotted her and the talent in her, this woman said she loves her passion for drumming and promised to assist her, so they exchanged contact

After few days, the woman called and asked her if she would love to go to Italy to go and be drumming for the Italian

Her ear pricked on hearing Italy, as an orphan with no one to cater for her and her siblings, she was glad to hear that she would be going to Italy with the motive to work and assist her siblings ,so she said yes and the whole process began

The woman promised to pay all the fees, because Tosin can't afford to pay even a single penny due to her financial status

To cut the long story short, the woman called that her documents are ready, and the day of traveling has been fixed.

On the day they were to travel, the woman said they should meet in Lagos (Nigeria), and from Lagos, they moved to Benin city (Nigeria) where they were joined by other ladies which the woman told her they would be traveling together.

That's how the journey began, they were like 15 in total according to Tosin, they packed all of them inside an (hilux pick up),they said they want them to cross the border before they take a flight. As all of them was new to traveling out of Nigeria or due to the excitement in them, non of them was bold enough to challenge this wicked people

They pick some other people along the way and the vehicle became overcrowded

By the time they came back to their senses, they were already in the dessert where their is no plant or animal, no human being was there with them,they were there with their maker

So, they have no choice than to abide by whatever rule they were given .

They spent up to a month on the road because, they only move at night, they find somewhere to camp themselves during the day.

Well, they got to Lybia after one long month of traveling. The woman told them, they are very close to Italy, but they have to stop and earn some money to cover for what she has spent on them so far, and to earn even enough money to take them to Italy.

She got them jobs they dare not to do in their father's land.

Some were working as prostitute, why some others as house help. Lucky her, she was one of those that was working as house help, but that does not saved her from being sexually harassed by the two sons of her boss.

Lybia is a Muslim country, she had to changed her name from Tosin to Aminat,so throughout her stay in Lybia, she was known as Aminat

Not too long after she got to Lydia that the immigration officers caught her and took her to prison where she spent the next six months of her life for living in the country without the necessary documents, she faced hell there in the prison.

She happened to meet another lady who was a Nigerian in the prison, and they established a good chemistry between them.

Many were killed right inside the prison,if you complain of any ailment, they would kill you instead of treating you, they decided to be fasting and praying together,probably God would look upon them with love and free them.

On the day she clocked six months in the prison, somebody just came from nowhere and ordered the release of the two of them,he took them to his house and started processing their traveling
documents so as for them to return to Nigeria.

As God would have it, Nigeria government sent a plane to bring them and other Nigerian who are willing forget the shame and come back home.

Immediately this man heard about it, he registered the two of them, the plane came and carried the two hundred and fifty of them back home from Lydia, she left Nigeria January 2017 and came back November 2017

When she came back, she tried to look for the woman, but she has died before they returned.

My final words...
ensure you do all the necessary findings before you join the line.

Don't look at the greener pasture there when you can water yours too.
