MY INTRODUCTORY POST TO STEEMIT

Hi steem and steemians. Just having a really great day today, knowing I will be part of something outstanding and unique. I just got introduce to steem by @weirdestwolf.

This post is going to be about my expectations and what the community should expect from me!!

Firstly, I am Emmanuel Archibong by name, a medical student in the University of Port Harcourt in Rivers State,Nigeria. Have always have passion for writing and inspiring people to become better version of themselves. Though I had stop writing when I was studying to get admitted to study medicine. I am glad to be introduced and identified with this awesome community. Special thanks to @weirdestwolf for introducing me to steem.

I am Efik by tribe and I hail from Cross River State in the south south region of Nigeria. This region is blessed with variety of cultural heritage ranging from food(edikang ikong,ekpang nkukwo), cultural dance and play(Ekpe).

EXPECTATIONS FROM STEEMIT
Firstly, I want to appreciate the founders of this great community for the vision.
I love meeting and engaging with people that have a growth mindset. I hope to meet such people here.
The growth of a community depends on the growth of each individual member that makes up the community.I expect to see an interaction and comment on everyone posts. It would not be nice to have everyone just writing and no comments on the post. I believe every writer was once a reader, let's not become writers and neglect reading and commenting on posts. I am really grateful to this community for the opportunity to be part of the next big thing happening in the world and will also make my contributions to the further growth of this community.

EXPECTATIONS FROM ME @emmaarchibong

I have keen interests and love for people.I will be focusing on inspiring people,medicine,finance and christianity.With time, I would love to broaden on my area of focus.

MOTIVATIONS:I don't really know, but inspiring others to become better version of themselves seems to come naturally to me and I feel fulfilled, each time, I get an opportunity or know I help to make someone day great or worthwhile.The extend and height to which one can achieve in life is as a result of their mindset. I will be writing articles that will center on making people to see beyond what they think of themselves. Articles that will help break mind boundaries of limitations. It will be my pleasure to get a feedback or comment that my writing help make a difference in someone's life, even if, it is one person.

MEDICINE:I have keen interest in humans health, have always wish no one suffers from an incurable disease or disorder. I hope that one day, every disease will have a solution, but for now, I will be writing about these incurable disease, and ways to help manage and prevent them, for the ones that are not hereditary.My writing will focus more on sickle cell anaemia, and then diabetes mellitus,Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS),binswanger and others.

Finance:In the formative stage of my life, I was told the lies, that have been echo for long, just study hard in school and you will get a nice government job with job security(retirement benefits and others). I am a strong advocate of the saying,"Money alone won't make you rich", you need to be rich in the mind to be rich outside. I will write on the principles and teachings, I learnt that help increase my financial IQ and view about money.

CHRISTIANITY:Like my mentor would say, "I'm not a religious fanatic". Many have been meet by religious extremists, who has presented a god that doesn't exist. A god that is always on the outlook for fault to punish people. I am proud to be a christian and a son of a loving God and Father. I will shamelessly be sharing to this community about this loving God, in whom there is no variation of darkness. He is all good. I plead to drop my pen here. I really glad to be part of this community, it is a privilege I cherish and will make utmost use of it.
