KUE KEUKARAH KHAS ACEH

Yang terhormat teman stemian semua
Hari ini, izinkan saya untuk memperkenalkan kue khas dari Aceh, Indonesia yaitu "Kue Keukarah".

Kue ini hanya ada di Aceh. Bentuknya yang unik, menjadikannya beda dengan yang lain.

Bentuknya seperti sangkar burung, bahkan orang non Aceh yang sulit mengucapkan kata “Keukarah” lebih suka menyebutkanya “Kue Sarang Burung”.

Penganan yang cukup populer dikalangan masyarakat Aceh ini, terbuat dari tepung beras, bentuknya persis seperti bangunan sarang burung.

Masyarakat Aceh menjadikan kue ini juga sebagai bagian dari adat dan upacara-upacara tradisional.

Terutama pada acara melamar dan lain sebagainya.

Saat ini, untuk dapat mencicipi kue ini, tidak harus menunggu ada upacara adat dan lain sebagainya.

Karena sudah banyak tersedia di warung kue tradisional ataupun ditempat-tempat sauvenir yang menjual alat-alat kerajinan.

CAKE KEUKARAH TYPICAL ACEH

Dear all stemian friends
Today, allow me to introduce a special cake from Aceh, Indonesia which is "Kue Keukarah".

This cake is only in Aceh. The shape is unique, making it different from the others.

It looks like a birdcage, even non-Acehnese who find it difficult to say the word "Keukarah" prefers to call it "Bird's Nest Cake".

Confection that is quite popular among the people of Aceh, made of rice flour, just like the shape of a bird's nest building.

The people of Aceh make this cake as well as part of traditional customs and ceremonies. Especially on the event of applying and so forth.

Currently, to be able to taste this cake, do not have to wait for a traditional ceremony and so forth..

Because it is widely available in traditional cake stalls or sauvenir places that sell handicraft tools.
