COMPETENT MINISTERS
Dear brothers, God desires a generation of leaders who can lead people with integrity. Today many churches are opening and it is sad to see so many people locked in religion. The only one who can make a person free is Jesus Christ, the Word says that if we know the Truth, the Truth will make us free and not the norms and commandments of men.
The Church needs a leadership that emphasizes the love, forgiveness and values that Jesus taught while on earth. These leaders must understand their role in the growth of the church, they are responsible for Christianizing out of devotion to cities and entire nations. This requires a new form of leadership, we are not saying that the old does not work, but the urgency of new leaders continues to grow more.
Luke 10: 2: "And he said to them, The harvest indeed is great, but the laborers are few; Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send laborers into his harvest "
We are at a point where the number of people who are getting to know Jesus outnumbers the number of leaders willing to do this work.
2 Corinthians 3: 6-7: "Who also made us competent ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter, but of the spirit; because the letter kills, but the spirit vivifies. And if the ministry of death engraved with letters on stones was with glory, so much so that the children of Israel could not fix their eyes on the face of Moses because of the glory of his face, which was to perish "
We must pray that God will raise ministers of a New Covenant, not based on religion. It is necessary to make a distinction between the old and the new covenant, because this way we avoid having a mixture of religion and doctrines. As Jesus says, the new wine must be put in new wineskins. It is a mistake to draw from the Old Testament a command or doctrine to teach it to the new generations. There is no hybrid pact, the old covenant is represented by Moses and the laws, the New Covenant for Jesus and his blood, therefore we are in the covenant of Grace.
Religion is a prison. Leaving the prison of sin to enter the prison of religion is the greatest mistake of a believer. There is a new teaching based on the love and mercy of Jesus and the leaders of the Church must adhere to it. The church needs leadership based on the teachings of Jesus.
We must not teach the old covenant to the new generation, we must teach that the letter kills but that the spirit vivifies, that is, full of life and well-being to the individual. The old covenant is a ministry of death that was based only on the outside, so the glory that was manifested in the face of Moses died with him. It means that that brightness should not come from the face but from the heart, because the New Covenant does not go to the external, but to the spirit of the individual, where the deep changes of the person are gestated. We should not live for a fleeting glory, but for eternal glory in Christ Jesus.
2 Corinthians 3: 8-9: "How can the ministry of the spirit not be more glorious? Because if the ministry of condemnation was with glory, much more will the ministry of justification abound in glory "
The glory to come is in the ministry of justification and Grace, through the Holy Spirit. We must prepare ourselves to see the manifestations of miracles that are coming, one of which is the new generation of New Covenant leaders.
Previously, Jews who believed in Jesus wanted to make a hybrid with their laws and the New Covenant, but that did not allow them to advance spiritually. Never a religious can grow in the spirit.
Paul was the prime minister of the New Covenant. He dared to say and do controversial things and that is why he was attacked by the religious of the time. It gave a new twist to the preaching of the Gospel where religion had no place.
2 Corinthians 2:17: "For we are not like many, who thrive falsifying the word of God, but with sincerity, as from God, and before God, we speak in Christ"
One of the characteristics of the New Covenant minister is to be sincere and not to meditate on the faith of the believer. Every Christian leader must understand that he speaks in the name of Christ and should not behave like a "promise seller" by putting monetary interest before the salvation of people. The tendency of "evangelical esotericism" must disappear, since it detracts from the Word of God, which is enough to change hearts and guide the believer.
2 Corinthians 10:12: "For we dare not tell or compare ourselves with some who praise themselves; but they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves to themselves, are not wise. "
The New Covenant ministers do not praise themselves, comparing themselves to humiliate others, but their only example of life is Jesus. Appearing to Jesus in his humility is his goal of life.
2 Corinthians 1:24: "Not that we have dominion over your faith, but that we labor together for your joy; because by faith you are firm "
The New Covenant minister does not become the "lord" of the church, but rather supports the faith of the people of Christ. He does not rule over people. He must support, lead and guide his brothers, not tyrannize them. Your leadership is exercised with love and is not based on fear.
2 Corinthians 4: 5: "For we preach not to ourselves, but to Jesus Christ as Lord, and to us as your servants for Jesus' sake"
This new class of leaders that Jesus is in need preach his Gospel. The main task of Jesus is to preach his Gospel to every creature and in every place and on that we must base ourselves. The one who preaches to make people see him great is preaching from himself. The people of Christ do not need preachers of religion, norms or commandments, but preachers of the Gospel that Jesus taught us.
2 Corinthians 11: 13-15: "For these are false apostles, deceitful workers, who disguise themselves as apostles of Christ. And it is not wonder, because Satan himself disguises himself as an angel of light. So, it is not strange if his ministers also disguise themselves as ministers of justice; whose end will be according to his works "
The New Covenant ministers recognize their errors and weaknesses, they do not make themselves infallible. The one who shows himself superior to his congregation, his fruits are few, because they do not transmit life but death through religion. You must observe the fruits of the leader to know if you are under correct and successful leadership. The blessing depends on the place where we sow our spiritual life, because if it is not a place of fertile land, the blessings will be scarce.
2 Corinthians 11:20: "For you tolerate if anyone enslaves you, if someone devours you, if someone takes what is yours, if someone exalts himself, if someone slaps you"
Humility is one of the most important attributes of the New Covenant minister. It does not enslave or plunder the people of Christ.

The ministers of the New Covenant are not perfect, but on the contrary what they do is for and for Jesus, regardless of their weaknesses.No believer should be underestimated, because Jesus is ready to call him to his service. If he has a humble and willing heart, that is enough for Jesus to assign him a leadership within the church and see him as a minister of the New Covenant.
